Residents in Two Mile, Kispiox Valley, Suskwa Valley, and South Hazelton rural:
The RDKS is aware that some residents in the rural Hazelton area don't have a reliable supply of potable (clean) water. Rain levels have also been steadily decreasing in recent years, which means less water for people to access in streams and rivers.
We're conducting a short survey to get more information about how the communities in the area use water. This will help our staff determine if a water filling station would be helpful to the area, and if so, where to place it.
