In order to complete construction works, Kitwanga Transfer Station will be closed to the public from Monday to Friday on the following dates:
- July 28 to August 1
- August 4 to August 8
- August 11 to August 15
The transfer station will be open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays during this time period, with extended hours from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
Please note, the following items are also no longer accepted at the transfer station:
- Tires
- Refrigerators and freezers
- Propane tanks
- Any materials for recycling
