Wondering what to do with your Christmas tree after the holidays? The Thornhill Fire Department and RDKS have a solution...
Drop off your Christmas tree at the Thornhill Fire Department starting January 5th between 9am - 4pm, (drop by the dumpster or ring the bell and the firefighters will lend a hand) then join us on Saturday, January 10th for a community bonfire!
We’ll have hot chocolate and fire pits for making s'mores and keeping warm. The fire department will be on hand to monitor the smaller fires before lighting the tree bonfire.
This is a FREE event, but we encourage everyone to bring a donation for the food bank.
