The RDKS is putting out a call for expressions of interest to operate the commercial kitchen at the Upper Skeena Recreation Centre (USRC) in Hazelton, BC.
The USRC a community hub that hosts a wide range of events throughout the year, including arena sports, tournaments, community celebrations, private rentals, meetings, and regional events. The facility includes a commercial kitchen space intended to provide food and beverage services.
The RDKS is looking for a qualified and experienced operator to manage and operate the USRC commercial kitchen.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Operating a commercial kitchen and concession services during arena events and other approved operating hours (other operating hours open for discussion)
- Menu development, food preparation, service, and point-of-sale operations
- Catering services for arena-hosted events, tournaments, and meetings (as requested)
- Staffing, training, and supervision of all food service personnel
- Daily cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and food service areas
- Complying with all applicable health, safety, and regulatory requirements
