The Development Variance Permit (DVP) applications in question will first be reviewed at the Planning Committee meeting of the Regional District Board at 3 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21, 2022. The DVP applications will then be considered for approval by the Regional District Board at its regular meeting starting at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21, 2022.

Some RDKS services to be closed for national day of mourning

In response to the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II, the federal government has announced that Monday, Sept. 19 will be a federal holiday and a national day of mourning. The Province of British Columbia is acknowledging the federal holiday and the Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine (RDKS) is following this direction.
