The Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine (RDKS) invites tenders from qualified Contractors to supply all materials, supervision, labour, vehicles, equipment, and all other necessary resources for the construction of an electrified wildlife fence and access road at the Meziadin Landfill. The work also includes temporary electrification of the existing landfill fence as required, and wildlife and environmental monitoring during the construction period.

ITT documents, addenda or further information will be available electronically through BC Bid and on the RDKS website. It is the sole responsibility of the Proponent to monitor these websites regularly to check for updates.

ITT 2025-WS-15

Addendum #1

The Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine is giving notice of its intent to direct award a contract to Aqua North Plumbing and Heating for the following service:

Installation of a commercial kitchen, installation and commissioning of an HVAC system, and installation of electrical controls at the Upper Skeena Recreation Centre.

The RDKS has chosen not to tender this contract for the following reasons:

Aqua North has the expertise and capacity to complete the works prior to the 2025-2026 ice season at the USRC.
Aqua North has existing familiarity with the USRC water and sewer infrastructure.
RDKS staff believe Aqua North’s proposal and ability to complete the works prior to the ice season provides good value for RDKS taxpayers.

Vendors wishing to object to this decision should contact the RDKS office via email at procurement@rdks.bc.ca on or before 4:00 p.m. local time on Friday, July 18, 2025, presenting specific reasons for their objections.
